Our Tensorex C+ is an advanced automatic tensioning system designed for railway electrification systems, specifically for overhead catenary systems (OCS). This innovative product ensures constant tension in the contact wires, accommodating changes in temperature and mechanical loads, thereby improving the reliability and efficiency of the railway power supply.
Mosdorfer Rail´s Tensorex C+ can be applied to railways and tramways. As well as being applied in tunnels, noise protection walls and platforms. Is best for Inner-city installations where low visual impact is requested.
Tensorex C+ works by exerting a constant pulling force on the connected catenary wires. The tensile force is independent of the temperature – related length changes of the ropes. The one or more spiral springs are firmly connected to two pulleys (one on each side) on the same shaft.
Highest Safety
Requires no counterweights so the likelihood of a falling weight is reduced to zero.
Compact design
Easy handling and transportation – aesthetic solutions for inner city installations.
High Precision
Constant tightening force over entire compensation range.
Highest reliability
Every Tensorex C+ Unit is tested before shipping to the customer and supplied with a test certificate.
Fast installation
Delivered and ready to install, no assembly required, no weights to be installed.
Purely mechanical device
Requires no additional power supply and electronics.
Lowest life cycle cost
Minimal installation time and cost – only visual inspection needed.
Vandalism Resistant
As no weights required. Free space on the mast base as well as escape routes not being blocked.

Tensorex C+ 3D
Our Tensorex C+ is an advanced automatic tensioning system designed for railway electrification systems, specifically for overhead catenary systems (OCS). The Tensorex C+ 3D is a tensioning device designed to allow for an increased compensation length in comparison to the standard Tensorex C+ range.
Mosdorfer Rail´s Tensorex C+ 3D consists of 4 product groups which can add up to an additional 40% in compensation length compared to the standard Tensorex C+ device.
Tensorex C+ 3D works by exerting a constant pulling force on the connected catenary wires. The tensile force is independent of the temperature – related length changes of the ropes. The one or more spiral springs are firmly connected to two pulleys (one on each side) on the same shaft.
Compact and Lighter
More compact and lighter than an alternative tensioning system.
High Precision
Constant tightening force over entire compensation range
High Level of Safety
Requires no counterweights so the likely hood of a falling weight is reduced to zero.
Fast Installation
Delivered and ready to install, no assembly required, no weights to be installed.
Lowest life cycle cost
Minimal installation time and cost – only visual inspection needed.
Purely Mechanical Device
Requires no additional power supply and electronics
Increased Compensation Length
Up to 40% additional compensation length (dependent on line tension.)
Vandalism Resistant
No weights required. Free space on the mast base as well as escape routes not being blocked.
Our Cantilever assemblies are engineered for exceptional strength and durability, providing critical support and stability for overhead contact wires in railway catenary systems.
Our droppers are precision-engineered components designed to maintain the correct spacing and alignment of contact wire in catenary systems, keeping it horizontal at a specific height, ensuring stable and efficient power distribution.
Our Insulators are essential components in railway electrification systems, ensuring secure and reliable insulation that maintains the stability and efficiency of the railway power infrastructure.
Our safety equipment and solutions for railway infrastructure, focusing primarily on ensuring the safety and reliability of electrified rail systems, particularly for overhead catenary systems (OCS) and high-voltage power components.
Safe, reliable power transmission in Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Power Networks and Rail Infrastructures need quality solutions that allow the continuous energy supply.
